Course Description

Our intensive Lymphatic Drainage Massage Course is designed for those who want to learn this therapeutic method of gentle bodywork. Lymphatic drainage massage helps reduce swelling, improve lymphatic and blood circulation, support detoxification processes, and strengthen the immune system. The training is structured so that 10% of the time is theory and 90% is practice, ensuring that participants gain hands-on experience and confidence in applying the techniques.

Beginners with no prior massage experience.
RAB practitioners and massage therapists who want to expand their skills.
Professionals interested in methods that support health and recovery.

What you will learn:

Basic anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system.
Principles of lymphatic drainage massage in therapeutic practice.
Core body techniques: gentle, rhythmic, and systematic movements.
How to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and stimulate recovery.
Indications and contraindications.
Safety techniques and ethical guidelines for working with clients.

Note: This course does not include facial massage.

Course Program:

1. Theory (10%)

Structure and functions of the lymphatic system.
Importance of lymphatic drainage in therapeutic practice.
Indications and contraindications.

2. Practice (90%)

Basic lymphatic drainage techniques (pumping, pressure, wave-like movements).
Working with arms and legs.
Techniques for the abdominal area.
Techniques for the back.
Full-body lymphatic drainage sequence.

Course Format:

On-site training in small groups.
Practical work in pairs under instructor supervision.
Individual feedback and recommendations.

Duration:

8 hours (1 intensive day)

Materials needed:

Comfortable clothing for practice.
Notebook and pen for notes.

Certificate:

After successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate in Lymphatic Drainage Massage Course from Zen Massage.
